Kate Bryan - Creative Spirit Catalyst
My Personal Mission: I am passionate about musical expression—and more importantly about supporting your child's and your family's musical journey. My personal mission is to be a "Creative Spirit Catalyst" for people of all ages in Bozeman and the surrounding area who wish to express themselves through music. And, being a Music Together® instructor is perfectly aligned with this mission. Music has been a blessing in my life and I'd like it to be a blessing for your family as well! Meaningful & Memorable Music: During weekly classes, I create a fun, informal, musically rich social setting that supports the varied learning styles of both children and adults. It is my hope that my positive and encouraging spirit will get everybody involved and making music in no time!
Kate's Background: I am the licensed Music Together Center Director for this area and have successfully completed the Music Together® teacher training workshop developed by the Center for Music and Young Children®, Princeton, New Jersery. Musically speaking, I am a singer, musician (guitar and clarinet) and occasional song writer. I direct the Singing Souls Senior Chorus and the Groovin' Women Chorus.
I am also a member of The DupliKates, a local vocal musical ensemble that performs for special events, fundraisers and private parties.
My Other Gigs: I'm a resourceful, left-brain/right-brain thinker who's able to bounce between a strategic/logical and creative/free flowing approach to life and work. I think playing music throughout my life (from a young age) had a lot to do with that ambidextrous thinking! In addition to my Music Together business, I also work part-time as a web marketing specialist /copy writer on independent project (Kate Bryan - Marketing Engineer) and coordinate music at Pilgrim church (Pilgrim Congregational Church). My husband and I enjoy hiking mountains, exploring new places, skiing and getting together with friends!
